As an avid female golfer, I was frustrated with the current women's golf market. Most brands do not focus on the women's segment, and the select few that do typically follow the 'Shrink It and Pink It' strategy. A lot of golf products created for women are often developed behind a closed door by men. My goal was to create awareness for women's golf by developing a strategic brand heavily influenced by women. This brand would create products that women truly wanted and would also serve as a community for all women in golf. Through this initial concept, the Reva brand was born.

Based on increasing support for women’s empowerment and social movements, I identified 6 core aspirational focuses for all Reva golfers. Regardless of age or skill level, the majority of women can identify and relate with these key, strategy focuses:

I directed the logo design to achieve an aesthetic style that evokes premium performance and modern athleticism. Based on consumer research, women preferred brand identities that were clean, modern, and strong. They wanted a brand that made them feel confident both on the golf course and in their everyday lives.
I directed the logo design to achieve an aesthetic style that evokes premium performance and modern athleticism. They wanted a brand that made them feel confident both on the golf course and in their everyday lives.
Working closely with a Consumer Insights team, I conducted several surveys to learn exactly what product colors female golfers liked best. An overwhelming percentage of the participants chose shades of blue as their favorite option. This became the brand color for Reva, as well as the hero color on all Reva products. I also researched the entire women's golf market to see what other competitive brands were doing. Most products currently in market featured soft pastel colors and an overwhelming selection of pinks, purples, and teals.
